General questions

What are the advantages of outsourcing fulfilment to Bezos?

One of the biggest challenges with selling online can be complex or time-consuming fulfilment operations. We have found that small and medium sized sellers do not have access to the right logistics resources, which really inhibits their ability to grow. That's why our mission is to help SMEs (small/medium sized enterprises) grow by giving them a scalable solution, and a level of service that was previously reserved for large companies. By taking away the hassle of fulfilling orders or managing a warehouse, you can focus on product development and marketing, whilst customers benefit from a better service.

What makes you different to traditional 3PLs?

Compared to traditional 3PLs, we are more tech driven and scalable due to our network of fulfilment centres and logistic partners and can provide support for multichannel e-Commerce. On top of that, we require no minimum volumes, no long term contracts and no fixed fees. You just pay for what you use.

What makes you different to Fulfilment By Amazon (FBA)?

You are still in control of your stock, while we act as your operations team - an extension to your business. We understand that there is no one-type-fits-all answer to fulfilment, which is why we are happy to create flexible solutions that are personalised to your needs.

Where are your warehouses located?

We work with a partner network of warehouses around the UK and will be expanding into Europe soon.

I'm not based in the UK, can I work with Bezos?

We can work with e-Commerce sellers based anywhere in the world as long as they require fulfilment from the UK. We can deliver worldwide. From 2021, we will also be providing fulfilment across Europe.

What is your pricing structure?

Bezos charges for goods in, storage, fulfilment and shipping. Unlike other logistics services, we do not charge any subscription, integration or order processing fees.

What is multichannel selling?

Multichannel selling is when an e-Commerce business uses more than one sales channel such as marketplaces (e.g. Amazon, eBay) or selling platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce). Find out more in this blog post.

Do you offer services for subscription businesses?

Yes, we love working with subscription business and have a few in our client base already.

What is Bezos doing to combat changes with Brexit?

We are expanding our partner network to include fulfilment centres based in the EU.

Are there any items that Bezos cannot work with?

We cannot work with some hazardous materials, flammable items or items above 30kgs. For any specifics, please reach out to inbound@bezos.ai.

E-Commerce Integrations

What integrations do you offer?

We offer integrations with more than 30 sales channels. Our marketplace integrations include Amazon, eBay, Etsy, OnBuy, Wayfair and more. Our selling platforms include Shopify, WooCommerce, Prestashop, Squarespace, Magento and more.

Is there an extra fee for integrations?

There are no fees for initial or extra integrations - we encourage all our sellers to sell on as many channels as they can!

Do you update Amazon, eBay and other channels when the order is dispatched?

All order info is updated via the integration and in our portal.

Can you manually input B2B/B2C orders via CSV?

Yes, you can manually input orders individually or via CSV.

Order Shipping

What carriers can I send orders with?

We have partnerships with all the main carriers in the UK including DHL, Hermes, Royal Mail, Parcelforce and many more.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship worldwide.

What happens if my stock is lost or damaged?

If a courier loses or damages a parcel via a fully tracked service and the client would like to raise a claim, Bezos will immediately compensate the product costs to the client and take on the burden of the claim ourselves.

What happens if the buyer says that the order is not delivered?

If it is a fully tracked shipping service, Bezos will compensate the seller immediately and raise a claim with the carriers.

Order Fulfilment

Can I create bundles/kits for Bezos to fulfil?

Yes, Bezos can create bundles/kits based on the instructions provided.

Can I use my own packaging?

Yes, but if you do not have any we can provide basic packaging materials such as cardboard boxes, poly bags and jiffy bags.

Does Bezos do FBA prep?

We offer FBA prep as an add-on service to our sellers, but not exclusively.

Getting started with Bezos

Do you require a minimum volume?

We do not require any minimum volume.

How long does it take to get onboarded?

Onboarding depends on many variables such as seller readiness, number of SKUs and sales forecast. We do recommend to factor in 2-3 weeks for onboarding.

How do I get stock to Bezos' warehouses?

You can ship your stock with any transportation option of your choice.
